Lightweight and Easy! New 16% Lighter Enamel Pot Series Released!

Nitori Co., Ltd. launched its new "IH/Gas Compatible Lightweight Enamel Pot" series in mid-May 2026 at select Nitori stores and online. In recent years, there has been a growing demand for cookware that is lightweight, easy to handle, and aesthetically pleasing. To meet these needs, Nitori focused on the hygienic and attractive enamel material while working to solve the issue of weight. As a result, the new pots are approximately 16% lighter than previous models. The largest pot in the lineup (20cm diameter) weighs about 960g. The series includes two sizes each for single-handle and double-handle pots. They are dishwasher-safe, reducing daily housework, and feature the stain and odor resistance inherent to enamel. Compatible with both IH and gas stoves, they are suitable for a wide range of households.
