"Nissin Raoh" is a brand that pursues the "royal road," "authentic," and "high-quality" flavors of each era, continuing to challenge itself to create a bowl of ramen that tastes like it was made at a restaurant. This time, we had 10 owners of shops that won the "Ramen Walker Grand Prix"—hosted by "Ramen Walker," the nation's No. 1 selling ramen information magazine*1—actually eat and evaluate*2 our "Nissin Raoh" cup noodles, which pride themselves on their "fresh noodle texture." We present the results of how these famous shop owners evaluated the noodles of "Nissin Raoh." ■ Over 7 out of 10 famous ramen shop owners certify "Nissin Raoh" as having a "fresh noodle texture"! To evaluate the "fresh noodle texture" unique to "Nissin Raoh" cup noodles, 10 owners of "Ramen Walker Grand Prix" winning shops conducted a "serious tasting" of four "Nissin Raoh" cup noodle products (Back-fat Soy Sauce, Rich Miso, Rich Mild Salt, and Roasted Sesame Tantan). The tasting was conducted in the presence of a "Ramen Walker" producer without any bias. While some owners said, "I'm sorry! No matter how delicious it is as a cup noodle, we are committed to our homemade noodles, so I cannot recognize this as a 'fresh noodle texture'!", over 7 out of the 10 owners evaluated all four products as "I think this is a 'fresh noodle texture' for a cup noodle." ■ When are "Nissin Raoh" noodles at their best? Revealed by the "serious evaluation" of famous shop owners! When we asked the shop owners who participated in the tasting when they thought the "Nissin Raoh" cup noodles tasted best—"immediately after preparation," "3 minutes later," or "5 minutes later"—everyone answered either "3 minutes later" or "5 minutes later." It was discovered that "Nissin Raoh" cup noodles remain delicious even as time passes. The "serious evaluation" by the shop owners can be viewed on the official "Ramen Walker" X account (@ramenwalker). ■ Are "Nissin Raoh" noodles "delicious in 3 ways"!? Following the comments from shop owners that "Nissin Raoh" cup noodles remain delicious over time, we compared "Nissin Raoh" cup noodles with our standard cup noodles to verify the texture of the noodles as time passed after preparation. As a result, it was confirmed*3 that the firm texture (koshi) unique to "Nissin Raoh" remains firmly intact even after time passes, not just "immediately after preparation," but also "3 minutes later" and "5 minutes later." Furthermore, we found that you can enjoy different textures*4 depending on the time: a firm "chewy-springy" texture immediately after preparation, a "mochi-springy" texture after 3 minutes when the soup has blended into the outer layer of the noodles, and a "juicy-plump" texture after 5 minutes when the soup has soaked into the inner layer of the noodles, proving that "Nissin Raoh" noodles are "delicious in 3 ways."
