The 3rd Announcement: Urban Festival "Bakushoku Onsai GW" Gathering Fragments of the Expo

We are pleased to announce the third update regarding "Bakushoku Onsai GW," an event to be held for six days from May 1 (Friday) to May 6 (Wednesday), 2026, at Expo Commemoration Park (Suita City, Osaka Prefecture).

"Bakushoku Onsai GW" is a large-scale event organized by the Bakushoku Onsai Executive Committee (Nishio Rent All Co., Ltd., Color create Inc., FoodFes Inc.) that connects the legacy and enthusiasm of the Expo to the next era.

Evolving the Expo's Enthusiasm into "Entertainment"

"Bakushoku Onsai" is developed as an "After-Expo Festival" that re-edits the international exchange and cultural experiences born at the Expo within the city and returns them to the region, without letting them end as a one-off event.

While inheriting the enthusiasm and connections created at the Expo, it horizontally integrates food, culture, and entertainment. It aims to be a new urban festival where diverse cultures intersect in an urban space.

Popular Characters Adorn the Venue

The appearance of "Myaku-Myaku," the official character of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, has been confirmed *1.

Furthermore, "Heidi," a popular character from Switzerland, will also appear, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the venue through stage performances.

Popular Gourmet Foods from Various National Pavilions Gather

Following the first and second announcements, the much-talked-about "Spark Burger" will be added from the American Pavilion. In addition, popular menus from the Expo, such as soft-serve ice cream from the Canadian Pavilion and authentic fish and chips from the British Pavilion restaurant, are planned to be offered.

Urban Market Content

At the venue, goods featuring "Spark," the official character of the American Pavilion, will be sold. These items are developed as souvenirs to take home memories of the Expo.

In addition to the content from March, the venue will feature exhibitions where visitors can experience materials and cultures from various countries related to the Expo.
