Nippon Paint Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Tomoo Enomoto) celebrated its 145th anniversary on March 14, 2026, since its founding in 1881. To mark this milestone, the company has launched 'School Canvas 150,' a new initiative under its existing social contribution program, the 'HAPPY PAINT PROJECT (HPP).' Over the next five years leading up to its 150th anniversary, the company will provide paint to 150 schools nationwide to help color their environments. Under the HPP concept of 'delivering happiness through paint,' the company has been addressing social issues and contributing to local communities while sharing the joy of painting. On this 145th anniversary, the company is refocusing on the power of color and aims to spread the 'value of communication through color' to society. This initiative aims to provide opportunities to 'experience' the power of color, fostering dialogue and connections within communities starting from schools. Starting April 1, 2026, in collaboration with the Junior Chamber International Japan and local governments, the company will begin accepting applications from schools, PTAs, and organizations supporting local activities.
