Revamping Membership Program to 'MITSUI OCEAN CLUB' – New Members Now Welcome

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Cruises, Ltd. (President and CEO: Tsunemichi Mukai; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), the operator of the cruise brand MITSUI OCEAN CRUISES (hereinafter 'the Company'), is revamping its existing membership program 'Dolphins Club'. The program is now renamed 'MITSUI OCEAN CLUB' (hereinafter 'Mitsui Ocean Club'), with significantly enhanced benefits for members. Enrollment for new members begins today.

The revamp aims to provide loyal customers of our cruise ships with more convenient and comfortable service experiences, and to help first-time cruisers and those considering a cruise vacation to further appreciate the charm of cruise travel.

The refreshed 'Mitsui Ocean Club' introduces a new tier system, changing the membership level criteria from number of cruises taken to total accumulated cruise nights. Additionally, individuals without prior cruise experience can now join the program.

Key benefits available under the new membership program include:

[Time-limited] 40% discount on first cruise fare: Members who join between Friday, July 3 and Friday, September 18 and make their first cruise booking with MITSUI OCEAN CRUISES will receive a 40% discount on cruise fare (valid once only). The discount applies to 21 cruises aboard MITSUI OCEAN FUJI departing between Thursday, July 30, 2026 and Sunday, December 13, 2026. This special offer cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

Onboard credit for first-time cruisers: New members taking their first cruise will receive 10,000 yen in onboard credit (non-transferable, non-refundable) to use during their first cruise.

10% discount on second cruise: Members who book their second cruise will receive a 10% discount on the cruise fare (valid once only).

Cruise fare discounts and complimentary cruises based on membership tier: Members receive cruise fare discounts according to their tier. Diamond members will receive a complimentary cruise (up to 4 nights) for every 100 nights accumulated after reaching 250 nights. For details, please visit the official website below.

Priority booking access: Members at Bronze level and above will have priority booking access, with tier-specific booking start dates before general sales begin for new itineraries.

Priority check-in and disembarkation: Bronze-level members and above will enjoy priority boarding and disembarkation services.

Additional discounts and services: Bronze-level members and above can enjoy tier-based discounts at onboard shops and spa facilities. Additionally, members may be invited to exclusive onboard events as a token of appreciation, such as cocktail parties and afternoon tea. Event availability and content vary by cruise and season.

Please note that the new membership program will apply to cruises departing on or after July 3, 2026. To utilize Mitsui Ocean Club benefits, new members must complete enrollment at least 10 business days before their cruise departure date. For more details, please visit the official website below.
