Nippon Express Launches "NX Device Compo Eco" with Film-less Design

NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC. (President: Satoshi Horikiri)'s group company, Nippon Express Co., Ltd. (President: Shinjiro Takezoe, hereinafter "Nippon Express"), launched "NX Device Compo Eco," a new service adopting a film-less design, on April 30th (Thursday) as a new lineup for its precision equipment transport service "Pasokonpo."

This service reduces environmental impact by using plastic film-free packaging materials and improves packaging work efficiency.

[Background of Development]

Nippon Express has been operating the precision equipment transport service "Pasokonpo" for many years. "Pasokonpo" is characterized by high transport quality that suppresses vibrations and impacts during transport by fixing precision equipment with film inside cardboard boxes, and has been used by many customers.

On the other hand, in recent years, there has been a strong demand for environmental consideration and sustainability in corporate activities, and reducing waste and environmental impact in packaging materials has become an important issue. In addition, the transport needs for small precision equipment such as mobile PCs, tablet terminals, handy terminals, and data loggers are expanding, making it indispensable to enhance the lineup to accommodate a wider range of applications.

Against this background, Nippon Express developed "NX Device Compo Eco," which adopts a cardboard-based structure without film, while maintaining the same transport quality as the conventional "Pasokonpo." Environmental consideration is provided as a standard service that is easy for customers to choose in their daily operations, rather than as a special initiative.
