Nippon Express Co., Ltd. (President: Shinjiro Takezoe), a group company of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC. (President: Satoshi Horikiri), launched a new service, 'NX Mobile One-Way Compo,' on March 31 (Tue) to support the bulk transport of mobile PCs and tablets. This service allows up to 10 devices to be packed and transported in a single cardboard container that does not require collection or reuse. This enables short delivery times and low costs, and devices can be stored in their packaging even after delivery. It makes transport easier and smoother for short-term or one-off bulk shipments, such as when multiple mobile devices need to be collected or when returning leased devices in bulk. [Background] Leveraging the know-how from its long-standing 'PC-Poto' and 'PC Matomete Compo' services, Nippon Express developed the 'Mobile Matomete Compo' service in 2024. However, traditional returnable container operations faced challenges regarding lead times for material procurement, operational burden, and storage management. To address these, the 'NX Mobile One-Way Compo' was developed as a flexible, cardboard-based alternative. [Features] 1. Low cost and short lead time: Cardboard materials reduce initial costs and lead times. 2. Flexible one-way usage: Ideal for spot shipments and temporary bulk transport. 3. Efficiency: Consolidates up to 10 devices, eliminating individual packing. 4. Integrated service: Nippon Express handles everything from material procurement to transport. 5. Optimal proposals: Can be combined with existing services based on usage frequency.
