Nippon Chikudenchi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Shuichi Urushibara) announces the start of power reception at the NC Sendai Aoba-ku Kami-Ayako Storage Power Station (Location: Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture), which is being developed through a fund jointly established with Remixpoint, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & CEO: Yoshihiko Takahashi).

As the promotion of carbon neutrality and the expansion of renewable energy introduction are demanded, securing "adjustment capability," which is essential for a stable power supply, has become an important social issue.

In our grid-scale battery storage business, we consistently promote everything from selecting suitable sites for projects, various adjustments and necessary procedures with power companies, selecting and introducing optimal battery solutions, to constructing storage power stations.

【Facility Overview】

With the widespread adoption of renewable energy, adjusting the balance of electricity supply and demand has become a critical issue. Storage batteries play a central role in absorbing these fluctuations and supporting stable grid operation.

This project adopts a CATL battery system and TMEIC power conditioners (PCS). With a highly reliable and controllable equipment configuration, it achieves stable operation in the demand-supply adjustment market, JEPX (wholesale market), and capacity market.

Mirait One Corporation was responsible for the construction, implementing design and construction with consideration for regional environmental preservation and safety.
