Our company places investment in human resources (education and training) at the core of its management, with a track record of training approximately 13,700 individuals annually (FY2024) at 51 in-house training facilities nationwide. We particularly focus on training and educating inexperienced individuals, viewing human resources active in various fields beyond industry and occupational boundaries as "human capital," and have accumulated numerous achievements, primarily in the development of engineers. In recent years, information disclosure regarding human capital has progressed, especially among listed companies. Amidst this trend, we have issued the "Human Capital Creation Report Vol.2" for the second consecutive year, aiming to inform more people about our efforts to create an environment where people can work healthily and long-term, addressing new ways of working in an era of declining birthrates, an aging population, and work style reforms.
About the Contents of "Human Capital Creation Report Vol.2" In Japan's manufacturing industry, where labor shortages due to the declining birthrate and aging population are becoming severe, and the advancement of AI and DX is changing the nature of workplaces, this report focuses on how our human capital initiatives in the development, design, manufacturing, and maintenance domains can contribute to next-generation work styles and the future of the manufacturing industry. The report introduces the role our company plays in the manufacturing industry, along with interviews with executives. Furthermore, from four perspectives—"people who develop and design things," "people who produce things," "people who maintain production facilities," and "people who manage the workplace (on-site managers)"—it delivers real voices from the field through interviews with active staff and the work-life supporters who support them. It also introduces our unique training initiatives, including pre-employment training and specialized training curricula, for the Engineer Training Center, Monozukuri Skills Center, and Maintenance Techno Center, which correspond to each domain.
