About 60 Minutes from Kansai International Airport! Experience the World of Godzilla and Japanese Culture: 'Awaji GODZILLA Festival 2026 in Summer'

Nijigen no Mori, an anime park on Awaji Island, will host the 'Awaji GODZILLA Festival 2026 in Summer' from July 18 (Sat) to September 13 (Sun), 2026, at its popular 'Godzilla Interception Operation' attraction. During the event, customers who purchase a 'Premium Ticket' or 'VIP Journey Pass' can participate in three games: an archery challenge, the traditional Japanese game 'Tosenkyo,' and a target-hitting challenge. Those who score 300 points or more will receive an original Japanese-pattern notebook, while those with less than 300 points will receive an original Japanese-pattern postcard. 'Godzilla Interception Operation' is an entertainment attraction themed around a life-sized 120m Godzilla that has landed on Awaji Island. Participants become members of the National Awaji Island Institute of Godzilla Disaster and take on missions such as zip-lining and shooting games. The facility also offers immersive experiences, including stays in Godzilla-themed collaboration rooms.
