The "Nikkor Photo Contest," which began in 1953, is now in its 74th year, supported by countless entries over the years. It is a photo contest open to everyone, regardless of professional or amateur status, and entries are accepted not only from Nikon cameras but also from cameras made by other manufacturers. Each time, many excellent works are submitted.
To encourage even more people to participate this time, the Web Division, which last year accepted entries in only one category, has been expanded to three categories: "Free," "Nature," and "Under 35" (all for single photos). Combined with the Print Division's "Free," "Nature," and "Junior High/High School Students" (all for single photos and photo series), entries are now being accepted across a total of 2 divisions and 6 categories.
Submitted works will undergo rigorous judging by leading professional photographers and editors-in-chief of digital camera magazines. Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Honorable Mention awards will be selected in each division. Furthermore, the most outstanding work among all entries will be honored with the "Grand Prix," receiving a prize of 500,000 yen and a "Nikon Z8" as a supplementary prize. An exhibition of the winning works will also be held at "THE GALLERY" photo exhibition venues in Nikon Plaza Tokyo and Osaka. We look forward to your entries.
