Nihon Trim Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City; President: Shuo Tahara; hereinafter "Nihon Trim"), which holds the No. 1*1 market share in water purifier sales, conducted an "Awareness Survey on Hydration" targeting 500 men and women in their 20s to 60s nationwide.

With the tap water quality standards revised as of April 1, 2026, organic fluorine compounds (PFOS/PFOA) have been upgraded to water quality standard items, bringing increased attention to "water" as living infrastructure. The survey results revealed that traditional drinking habits are changing, with a new habit focused on "functionality" taking root, especially among younger demographics.
