IR Engineers Education Institute will hold a public seminar on building immunological assay systems and evaluating their performance for soluble molecular biomarkers in biological samples.
Biomarkers are utilized in various processes of drug development, including disease diagnosis, assessment and prediction of physical conditions, as well as in the research and clinical trials of new drugs.
On the other hand, fundamental knowledge of assay system design and evaluation is indispensable for accurately detecting and quantifying trace substances contained in biological samples. In particular, understanding immunological assay systems using antibodies is considered important for quantifying low-concentration substances at the ng/mL level with good reproducibility.
