Green Procurement Seminar to Learn Environmentally Conscious Manufacturing Held

IR Engineer Education Research Institute will hold a public seminar to learn everything from the basics to practical implementation of "green procurement," which involves making environmentally conscious choices in procurement and manufacturing processes, amidst corporate challenges such as climate change response, resource management, and energy consumption reduction.

Regardless of industry, efforts to protect the natural environment and realize a sustainable society are required. In particular, responding to climate change, sustainable management of resources, and reduction of energy consumption are unavoidable challenges for companies. One way to address these challenges is "green procurement." It is becoming increasingly important for manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers to collaborate and share responsibility across the entire supply chain.
