■What is UDAUDACAFE?

"UDAUDACAFE" is a takeout-only cafe that was born from the desire to not let dads and moms give up on their excitement and joy, featuring "Obento Crepes" as its signature menu item.

Even "eating my favorite crepes" was one of the pleasures that representative Udagawa gave up after becoming a mother. This was because regular crepes often require one hand to be occupied, and children tend to get their hands and mouths dirty when eating them, making them a high-hurdle dessert for parents and children to enjoy together.

The "Obento Crepe" was developed with the sole desire to deliver it to parents who share the same feelings. In addition to its deliciousness, a year was spent on its shape, cream blending ratio, and ingredient selection, thoroughly pursuing ease of eating and peace of mind.

■Signature Menu: "Obento Crepe"

The "Obento Crepe" is a roll crepe that feels just like an obento (lunch box). It features classic crepe fruits and a gently sweet cream made from 100% raw milk, soy milk, and domestic cane sugar, all wrapped in a chewy rice flour and tapioca flour dough, then packed into an easy-to-carry box.

Its features include a cut-roll shape that doesn't keep one hand occupied, a cream with moderate softness that doesn't easily spill out when held, making it less likely to get hands and mouths dirty, and careful consideration for ingredients and sweetness, resulting in a crepe that is easy and safe to eat even with small children.

There are four flavors: Banana, Blueberry, Orange Marmalade, and Seasonal Fruit. Additionally, for custom flavors, you can choose homemade raw chocolate made with additive-free cocoa powder, homemade caramel almonds with a crunchy texture, and colorful chocolates that children love. For drinks, we offer juices as well as original blend coffees. We have "Uda Cafe Blend" with a bitter flavor that enhances the gentle sweetness of the Obento Crepe, "Hiratsuka Blend" which expresses the seaside of Hiratsuka, and decaffeinated options.

■The Story Behind UDAUDACAFE's Birth

NICO Co., Ltd. is a parent-child marketing company that advocates for "more excitement and joy for dads and moms."

After experiencing various industries and work styles and then managing a company, representative Udagawa was blessed with children and a family. However, she realized that the "excitement" and "joy" of dads and moms themselves were being put on the back burner.

"My clothes get pulled by my child, and when I think about changing diapers or playing in the sand, I can't wear accessories and end up wearing only denim and T-shirts," and "It became difficult to go out for drinks, which was a common hobby for my husband and me."

Of course, it's not impossible at all. However, compared to when they were single or just a couple, going out and enjoying themselves requires a lot of preparation.

From these personal experiences, "UDAUDACAFE" was born from the desire to not let parents with small children give up on their excitement and joy.
