Nippon Chozai Recognized as "Excellent Company for Cancer Control Promotion in Reiwa 7"

Nippon Chozai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Kazuki Ogura), which provides new value in pharmacies, was recognized as an "Excellent Company for Cancer Control Promotion in Reiwa 7" on March 1, 2026, under the "Excellent Company for Cancer Control Promotion Award System" within the "Cancer Control Promotion Corporate Action" promoted by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

■Overview of the System

The "Cancer Control Promotion Corporate Action" is a national project by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare that aims to foster a social atmosphere of proactively addressing cancer by promoting increased cancer screening participation rates through corporate collaboration.

The "Excellent Company for Cancer Control Promotion Award System" recognizes companies that have taken proactive measures in cancer control, such as promoting cancer screening awareness and supporting work-life balance, among the partner companies of this initiative.

■Our Initiatives

Based on the cancer screening indicators set by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, we provide subsidies for examination costs and transportation expenses. Health nurses and occupational physicians review the examination results. For employees identified as high-risk, we arrange consultations with occupational physicians and establish a system that facilitates smooth access to secondary examinations.

Furthermore, we promote support for balancing work and treatment through the operation of a short-term work system for personal illnesses. This system is highly demanded by users and contributes significantly to our talent retention by creating an environment where employees in diverse situations can continue to work with peace of mind.
