Nihon Chouzai Recognized as an 'Excellent Company for Cancer Control Promotion' for Fiscal Year 2025

Nihon Chouzai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazunori Ogi), a company providing new value in pharmacy services, was recognized on March 1, 2026, as an 'Excellent Company for Cancer Control Promotion' for fiscal year 2025 under the 'Cancer Control Promotion Corporate Action' program led by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW).

■ Overview of the Program

The Cancer Control Promotion Corporate Action is a national project by the MHLW aimed at fostering a social climate that proactively addresses cancer by promoting higher cancer screening rates in the workplace through corporate collaboration.

The Excellence Award recognizes partner companies within this initiative that have demonstrated proactive efforts in cancer control, such as raising awareness for cancer screenings and supporting the balance between work and medical treatment.

■ Our Initiatives

Based on the cancer screening guidelines set by the MHLW, we provide subsidies for screening costs and transportation expenses. Test results are reviewed by public health nurses and industrial physicians. For employees identified as high-risk, we conduct interviews with industrial physicians and have established a system to ensure smooth access to secondary examinations.

Furthermore, we promote the balance between work and treatment through our short-time work system for personal illness and injury.
