Fukushima Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture; Representative: Yoshiyuki Kaneko; hereinafter referred to as Fukushima Nissan) provided special sponsorship for the 18th Fukushima Dashi Festival held in Fukushima City on Saturday, June 6, 2026. This was the third special sponsorship since the 16th festival.

The festival began in 2007 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Fukushima City's incorporation, and this year marked its 18th edition. Floats preserved by local town associations and youth groups from various areas in Fukushima City gather together and parade through the city center, widely promoting local traditional culture.

On the day, 17 floats from Fukushima, Nihonmatsu, Date, and other areas gathered on Shinobu Street. Each float, characteristic of its region, paraded to the accompaniment of flute and drum music, captivating many spectators. As a special performance, the Fukushima City Yoshii Elementary School Marching Band delivered a well-coordinated performance.

Fukushima Nissan exhibited the Roox and X-Trail Rocky Creek vehicles on Azuma Street.

Additionally, President Yoshiyuki Kaneko attended the opening ceremony and used a wooden clapper to signal the start of the float procession, enlivening the beginning of the festival.

Fukushima Nissan will continue to contribute to the preservation of local traditional culture and regional revitalization.
