Why not visit Tateshina Highlands in early June, the best season for English gardens?
Join Kay Yamada, British gardening expert and owner of Barakura English Garden, for an exclusive on-site experience.
Barakura English Garden in Tateshina Highlands is Japan's first authentic British garden, created by Kay Yamada, the leading figure in British gardening culture in Japan.
The approximately 10,000-square-meter grounds feature theme gardens and various facilities befitting a true British-style garden.
The garden is filled with seasonal plants, creating a comfortable and healing space. On this tour, we will visit Barakura English Garden with the owner herself.
Ms. Yamada will personally guide you through the vast gardens, including access to her private garden, which is normally closed to the public.
After the walk, enjoy an authentic British high tea at the on-site cafe. You can savor afternoon tea supervised by Hannah Miles, Britain's 'Queen of Cakes,' in a luxurious atmosphere.
As the tour takes place during the Flower Show, a container gardening experience is also available for those interested.
During the season when the garden is at its most beautiful, why not take a short trip to experience the ultimate English garden?
*Note: This course is local assembly and local dismissal.
