Far EasTone showed the strongest momentum this week, rising 8.42% to break above the monthly moving average. It closed at NT$103 on Friday, reclaiming its pre-ex-dividend price. The three major institutional investors also bought a net 19,000 shares over two consecutive trading days, totaling 19,000 shares bought this week. Far EasTone went ex-dividend on July 8, distributing a cash dividend of NT$3.890281 per share, with an ex-dividend reference price of NT$99.2. It completed dividend recovery in just eight trading days.
Chunghwa Telecom rose 3.37% this week, reclaiming its 200-day moving average, and closed at NT$138 on Friday. The three major institutional investors also bought a net 29,000 shares this week, including two consecutive days of net buying. Chunghwa Telecom went ex-dividend on July 9, distributing NT$5.2 per share in cash dividends, with an ex-dividend reference price of NT$134.5. Although it has not yet returned to its pre-ex-dividend closing price of NT$139.5, it completed dividend recovery in seven trading days.
Taiwan Mobile rose 2.3% this week, reclaiming its 200-day moving average, and closed at NT$111 on Friday. The three major institutional investors have bought a net 41,000 shares over six consecutive trading days, with a total of 41,000 shares bought this week. Taiwan Mobile went ex-dividend on July 9, distributing NT$4.744 per share in cash dividends, with an ex-dividend reference price of NT$108.5. Although it has not yet returned to its pre-ex-dividend closing price of NT$113, it completed dividend recovery in seven trading days—setting the fastest record in recent years.
