Micro One Medical, a subsidiary of backlight module manufacturer Dachun (6120-TW), participated in the 2026 Asia Biotech Expo. During an interview, Chairman Tsai Kuo-hsin stated that the new business is expected to continue its high growth this year. Specifically, Micro One Medical is expected to see at least a 50% increase in revenue, benefiting from the increased production of organ chips and related equipment.

Tsai Kuo-hsin mentioned that last year's new business revenue grew by a multiple, accounting for approximately 3% of the total. This year, the growth is expected to continue, with the revenue share potentially reaching 5%. Regarding the backlight module business, he expressed caution for the second half of the year, primarily due to the shortage of key components such as memory, which may impact end-demand and requires further observation.

Tsai Kuo-hsin pointed out that Micro One Medical is currently focusing on two core technology platforms: the Microneedle Transdermal Delivery Platform and the Biochip System Solutions. The company is actively expanding into the global markets of beauty technology and medical technology.

At this exhibition, Micro One Medical showcased its latest Precision Microstructure Platform, fully demonstrating the innovative applications of optical-grade microstructure forming technology in beauty technology and medical technology.

Micro One Medical displayed several innovative micro-needle skincare products, including dissolvable micro-needle patches, 2-Step micro-needle eye masks, micro-needle rollers, and hydrogel eye masks. The company also offers comprehensive services such as rapid market entry plans, customized formula development, and brand-customized production, creating more market-competitive next-generation skincare products.

Additionally, Micro One Medical simultaneously showcased the Biochip System Solutions, fully demonstrating the diverse applications of precision microstructure technology in the biomedical field. These include automated liquid handling systems, dynamic aerosol chip systems, bio-mimetic organ chips, and the self-developed SERS chip system.

The automated liquid handling platform can effectively reduce human operational errors, significantly improving the efficiency of organ chip experiments. It assists in establishing more scalable and highly reproducible research processes, meeting the needs of drug development, multi-sample testing, and parallel experiments for multiple customers.

The SERS chip system, combined with the self-developed patented Raman spectroscopy detection platform, can complete rapid detection within 10 minutes. It is applied in food safety, spice ingredient analysis, and cosmetic ingredient analysis, providing a one-stop detection solution that combines high sensitivity and high efficiency.
