Taiwan's leading supermarket chain, PX Mart, announced today (16th) the successful expansion of its large-format and integrated store strategy. The 'PX Mart Jinde Store' in Taichung's East District will open on July 18, becoming the company's largest integrated outlet, with the supermarket on the first floor alone exceeding 600 ping.

PX Mart stated that the Jinde Store will offer a full range of fresh produce, dry goods, and daily necessities, while introducing specialty zones such as 'PX Electrical' and 'PX Wine Cellar.' The store will also feature brands like Mitsui 3C and AURORA Telecom, providing consumers with a richer one-stop shopping experience.

The Jinde Store spans four above-ground floors: the first floor houses the PX Mart supermarket and branded electrical kiosks; the second floor offers dining services; and the third floor introduces Fitness Factory, creating a lifestyle destination with fitness services. Details on brand tenancy and operations will be announced progressively according to the plan.

Located near Taichung Station, Jianguo Market, and Mitsui LaLaport, the store sits in a vibrant area with residential, commercial, educational, and transportation hubs, indicating strong commercial growth potential. PX Mart noted that while it has traditionally focused on neighborhood stores, it has been actively expanding large-format and integrated stores in recent years due to changing consumer behaviors and the development of major commercial districts. Currently, there are four integrated stores over 500 ping across Taiwan.

PX Mart emphasized its commitment to further integrating the wholesale resources of the PX Group and leveraging cross-industry collaboration advantages, extending convenience beyond daily grocery shopping to meet various aspects of consumers' lives.
