Foxlink (2392-TW) announced the official launch of its Texas plant in AllianceTexas, Fort Worth, on July 14, U.S. time. Responding directly to North American customers’ demand for localized and resilient supply chains, this marks Foxlink’s first AI demonstration factory in the United States.

Foxlink will gradually implement its AI factory architecture at the Texas facility, covering surface mount technology (SMT) and final assembly, test, and packaging (FATP) lines. By leveraging AI-driven automation, the company aims to enhance production flexibility and reduce line changeover costs. The establishment of the Texas plant also aligns with Foxlink’s ongoing global operational transformation.

Foxlink Group General Manager Kuo Shou-Fu stated that the company’s 40 years of electronics manufacturing experience and global industrial footprint serve as the true capital behind this transformation. He emphasized that Foxlink is converting this experience into tangible AI capabilities. This is not merely a production line upgrade, but a redefinition of how manufacturing operates. Beyond advancing its own factories’ AI integration, Foxlink aims to help global manufacturers build their own AI capabilities using the same approach.

The advanced technological foundation of the Texas plant stems from Foxlink Group’s integrated AI factory architecture, which combines computing power and robotics. Within the group, UBILINK in Taiwan has built a large-scale GPU high-performance computing (HPC) platform using the NVIDIA H100 architecture, providing a stable and fast computational base. SYNCROBOTIC is simultaneously developing AI and robotic systems, extending computing power to the industrial floor.

The establishment of the Texas plant symbolizes a critical step for Foxlink in transitioning from a traditional electronics manufacturing services (EMS) supplier to an AI factory operator. This architecture emphasizes replicability—once successfully validated at a single site, it is expected to expand over time to other facilities within Foxlink’s global manufacturing network.
