Kwang Jou Jing Electric (6111-TW) Chairman Tu Jun-Guang stated that the company will launch three new games in the second half of the year, while the merger with Zaolong and Qinyao, two electrical engineering companies, will boost operational performance. Additionally, its investee Photronics Taiwan (2338-TW) is experiencing strong order intake and full capacity utilization, and is entering Japan's semiconductor market through acquisition.

Kwang Jou Jing Electric CEO Chen Yao-Tian stated that a mobile game based on an anime IP, published under license, will begin pre-registration at the end of the third quarter and beginning of the fourth quarter. For in-house developed titles, "Shining Soul" is undergoing optimization and will expand from PC online to mobile platforms. The national mobile game "Rich Man" will also launch a new installment, all expected in the fourth quarter.

Furthermore, Kwang Jou Jing Electric acquired Zaolong and Qinyao, two electrical engineering firms, for a total of NT$252 million. Chairman Tu noted that the two companies generate annual revenues of approximately NT$1.4–1.5 billion, with NT$1.9 billion in backlog and NT$4 billion in current orders. The transaction is expected to close by the end of September and will contribute significantly to second-half performance.

In the semiconductor sector, Kwang Jou Jing Electric’s investee Photronics Taiwan, through its subsidiary Guang Ju Holdings, signed a letter of intent to invest in a semiconductor equipment service company based in Kumamoto City, Japan. The plan involves acquiring 100% of the company for up to ¥1 billion (approximately NT$200 million).

Chairman Tu stated that due to a confidentiality agreement, the target company’s name and details cannot be disclosed. However, he revealed that nearly all major semiconductor manufacturers in Kyushu are clients of the target. With ongoing local capacity expansion by these players, the company sees strong future potential and plans to integrate group technical resources to expand its footprint in Japan’s semiconductor market.
