Yuan Hua AI Medicine, a subsidiary of Hua An (6657-TW), was invited to speak at the 'Taipei Bio Pavilion' during the Asia BioTech Conference. CEO Hsu Yin-Hsiung shared insights into the future development of the company's self-developed AI drug discovery platform, announcing plans to connect this platform with the global biopharmaceutical industry chain and open a new blue ocean in AI-driven drug development.
Focusing on AI-powered drug development with a strategy centered on drug repositioning, Yuan Hua AI Medicine has built its proprietary 'Zhihui Xiezou' AI drug discovery platform. Starting from existing drugs, the platform systematically uncovers potential for new indications, shortening the early-stage exploration and validation process for candidate drugs. The company is now advancing its R&D outcomes toward high-value intellectual property (IP) protection, laying the foundation for future international licensing.
Hsu revealed that Yuan Hua AI Medicine is currently engaged in substantive cooperation discussions with multiple domestic and international manufacturers, research institutions, and biomedical organizations. Customized plans are being developed based on each partner's resources and needs, covering technology exchange, joint R&D, candidate drug validation, and subsequent commercial revenue sharing.
Hsu emphasized that advancing AI-driven drug repositioning relies not only on the platform's technical capabilities but also on collaboration with industry chain partners to expand R&D projects and application scenarios.
Hsu stressed the importance of 'teamwork,' noting that the Zhihui Xiezou platform is not a single AI model or data analysis tool, but an end-to-end drug development pipeline integrating multimodal data and diverse AI technologies. This enables the platform to explore small-molecule candidates, evaluate new indications, and establish a highly scalable R&D framework.
