Quanta Computer (2324-TW) announced today (9) its June revenue reached NT$95.854 billion, representing a 36% month-on-month increase and a 58.4% year-on-year surge, marking the highest level in 45 months. Second-quarter revenue totaled NT$238.295 billion, while cumulative revenue for the first six months of the year reached NT$439.598 billion. Quanta stated that robust PC shipments and double-digit quarterly growth in server business drove the strong revenue performance.

In June, Quanta's PC shipments reached 2.4 million units, up 20% month-on-month but down 4% year-on-year. Second-quarter PC shipments totaled 6.2 million units, up 5.08% quarter-on-quarter but down 12.68% year-on-year. Quanta noted that PC shipments remained stable and in line with prior expectations. Higher average selling prices (ASP) contributed to the revenue growth. The company expects third-quarter PC shipments to remain flat to slightly up on a quarter-on-quarter basis.

Regarding server business, Quanta reported double-digit percentage growth in the second quarter, serving as the primary driver of revenue growth. The company anticipates continued double-digit growth in the third quarter, supported by new project contributions and strong order momentum.
