Delta Electronics (2308-TW) announced today (9th) its June 2024 revenue reached NT$65.603 billion, representing an 11.3% increase from the previous month and a 55.4% year-on-year growth—marking a new monthly record. The company's second-quarter revenue totaled NT$183.257 billion, up 15% quarter-on-quarter and 47.7% year-on-year, while first-half revenue reached NT$342.609 billion, a 41% year-on-year increase, both achieving record highs.
All-time highs for June, Q2, and the first half were primarily driven by robust shipments of AI-related power supplies and thermal management solutions. In June, revenue by business segment was distributed as follows: Power and Components at 50%, Transportation at 5%, Automation at 8%, and Infrastructure at 37%.
Delta's Chairman, John T. Cheng, previously indicated that the company's 2024 operations are on a stable growth trajectory. Since AI data center deployments follow capital expenditure plans, he expects minimal seasonal fluctuations beyond the first quarter.
The primary growth driver remains strong demand from AI data centers for power and cooling solutions. Delta anticipates production capacity constraints over the next 1–2 years and is expanding capacity in Thailand, Chongqing (China), and the United States to meet surging AI-related demand.
