NetEase Games' popular battle royale title Knives Out will launch its 8th collaboration event with Evangelion from July 4 to July 24, 2026. Featuring Awakening Unit-01-themed legendary items, swimsuit skins for Rei and Asuka, and up to 50 free gacha pulls through various in-game events.

NetEase Games has announced that its popular battle royale game Knives Out will host the 8th collaboration event with Evangelion from Saturday, July 4, 2026, to Friday, July 24, 2026.

This marks the eighth collaboration between Knives Out and Evangelion, bringing Evangelion-themed items back to the battlefield. Inspired by the Awakening Unit-01 from "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance," this collaboration features a range of exclusive items, including legendary weapons, vehicles, outfits, and accessories.

Unit-01 Awakens: Legendary Dual-Form Items Now Available

This collaboration introduces the legendary weapon "M4A4: Unit-01 - Moment of Awakening" and the legendary vehicle "Unit-01: Moment of Awakening," both based on the design of the Awakening Unit-01 from "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance." These items feature dual-form transformation mechanics, special effects, and unique animations.

The legendary vehicle "Unit-01: Moment of Awakening" deploys a defensive shield when its vehicle skill is activated, protecting players from enemy attacks.

Additionally, the SP vehicle "Unit-02: Beast Mode," inspired by Unit-02's Beast Mode transformation in "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance," will also be available. Featuring a wild, animalistic design, this vehicle significantly boosts performance when its skill is activated.
