Commencement of R&D for Establishing AI-Driven Development

(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Gen Matsuoka) announces the full-scale commencement of research and development to verify and establish 'AI-Driven Development' methods, which utilize generative AI as an execution engine across all stages of system development. As DX progresses, the importance of software development is increasing, while challenges such as talent shortages, shortened development periods, and quality assurance are becoming apparent. In response, AI-powered development support technology is gaining attention as a key to improving productivity. While we have been working to advance our development processes, we believe that the evolution of generative AI has brought us to a new stage where AI supports and automates the entire development process, from design and implementation to testing and operation. In this R&D, we will promote the verification and practical application of AI across the entire development lifecycle.
