Conclusion of "Mizuho Eco Finance" Agreement with Mizuho Bank, Ltd.

We are pleased to announce that Nippon Concrete Industries Co., Ltd. (President: Hiroshi Tsukamoto) has concluded a commitment line agreement for "Mizuho Eco Finance" under a syndicated loan scheme, with Mizuho Bank, Ltd. (President & CEO: Masahiko Kato) as the arranger. "Mizuho Eco Finance" is an environmental assessment financing product that uses an environmental assessment model developed by Mizuho Research & Technologies, Ltd., which incorporates globally reliable environmental certifications and evaluations. It scores companies' initiatives and indices, and provides financing to companies that meet a certain score or higher. On this occasion, our company was highly evaluated for meeting the high standards of the indicators used in the assessment model, particularly for setting greenhouse gas emission reduction targets for fiscal years 2028 and 2038, and aiming to achieve carbon neutrality by fiscal year 2048, which led to the conclusion of this agreement. Our group will continue to promote the technological development, deployment, and widespread adoption of environmentally friendly products, thereby contributing to the realization of a decarbonized society.
