Concluded "Mizuho Eco Finance" Agreement with Mizuho Bank, Ltd.

We are pleased to announce that Japan Concrete Industries Co., Ltd. (President: Hiroshi Tsukamoto) has concluded a commitment line agreement for "Mizuho Eco Finance" through a syndicated loan arrangement with Mizuho Bank, Ltd. (President & CEO: Katsuhiko Kato) as the arranger. "Mizuho Eco Finance" is an environmental assessment financing product that utilizes an environmental evaluation model developed by Mizuho Research & Technologies, Ltd., incorporating globally reliable environmental certifications and evaluations, to score corporate initiatives and indicators, and provide financing to companies that meet a certain score or higher. This agreement was concluded because our company has set greenhouse gas emission reduction targets for fiscal years 2028 and 2038, and aims to achieve carbon neutrality by fiscal year 2048, which was highly evaluated for meeting high standards in the indicators used in the evaluation model. Our group will continue to promote the technological development, deployment, and widespread adoption of environmentally friendly products, contributing to the realization of a decarbonized society.
