The company was recognized for its high-precision optical lenses and X-ray mirrors, which meet rigorous technical requirements in semiconductor, synchrotron, and space sectors. Since its founding, Natsume Optics has focused on high-precision processing and ultra-precision polishing. Its overseas sales ratio now exceeds 15%. In the field of synchrotron radiation, the company successfully developed the world's first X-ray optical element through joint research with the University of Tokyo. Furthermore, its technology was utilized in NASA's FOXSI-4 solar flare observation rocket launched in 2024.
