Oimachi is a historic town that has long developed alongside the railway. "OIMACHI LIGHT TRAIL" is a light-up event that uses the train depot, station building, and the newly emerging vast mixed-use facility "OIMACHI TRACKS" as its stage to depict the memories of people and culture brought by the railway as "tracks of light." More than just an event, it aims to enhance the overall circulation of the town and create a new landmark that will define Oimachi's nights by "connecting" three distinct areas – the station, the plaza, and the park – with light.

Based on the theme of Oimachi's "Railway Tracks," synchronized light productions will be developed across four areas.
1. STATION PLAZA: Grand Staircase Projection Mapping Adorning the Seasons
At the grand staircase, which serves as Oimachi's gateway, seasonal digital art will be projected. For the grand opening on March 28, 2026, "SAKURA SYMPHONY," featuring dancing cherry blossom petals, will be unveiled. Additionally, events like "FIREWORKS FEST," themed around fireworks associated with Oimachi, will offer new surprises with each visit.
