NAKED, INC. (Location: Shibuya, Tokyo; Representative: Ryotaro Muramatsu) will direct and produce "OIMACHI LIGHT TRAIL," a projection mapping and lighting event for "OIMACHI TRACKS," a large-scale complex directly connected to Oimachi Station that is set to open on March 28, 2026, as part of the co-creative urban development of the Greater Shinagawa area led by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).
■ Connecting Oimachi's Stations, Plazas, and Parks—Which Have Grown Alongside the Railway—with "Tracks" of Light
Oimachi is a historic town that has long walked hand-in-hand with the railway. "OIMACHI LIGHT TRAIL" is an illumination event set against the backdrop of train depots, station buildings, and the newly created "OIMACHI TRACKS" complex, depicting the memories of the people and culture brought by the railway as "tracks of light." By using light to "connect" three distinct areas—the station, the plaza, and the park—the event aims to increase foot traffic throughout the town and create a new landmark that defines the nights of Oimachi.
■ Key Area Production Details
Under the theme of Oimachi's "TRACKS," light productions will be synchronized across four areas.
1. STATION PLAZA: Seasonal Projection Mapping on the Grand Staircase
Digital art that changes with the seasons will be projected onto the grand staircase, which serves as the gateway to Oimachi. For the opening on March 28, 2026, "SAKURA SYMPHONY," featuring dancing cherry blossom petals, will be unveiled. The event will also offer new surprises with each visit, such as "FIREWORKS FEST," themed around fireworks associated with Oimachi.
