Nadia Inc., which operates the cooking media 'Nadia', conducted a survey on the frequency and utilization of seasonings. The results show that while basic seasonings and 'rice oil' have become staples, 'Shirodashi' (white dashi) has seen the most significant increase in usage over the past year. On the other hand, 'Doubanjiang' and 'Gochujang' ranked at the top for seasonings that users struggle to finish. Nadia provides recipes to help users make delicious use of these often-leftover ingredients.

The survey found that basic seasonings like soy sauce and salt, along with mayonnaise, are kept in about 90% of households. Additionally, rice oil is gaining presence due to rising health consciousness. 'Shirodashi' (15.2%) was the top seasoning with increased usage, favored for its convenience in flavoring dishes. In contrast, 'Doubanjiang' (18.0%) and 'Gochujang' (18.0%) were identified as the most difficult to use up.

Nadia offers numerous recipes to master these ingredients, such as a Mala-tang style soup using Doubanjiang and Korean-style Nikujaga using Gochujang. Nadia is a platform used by 20 million people monthly, featuring high-quality recipes posted by over 1,000 professional chefs.
