Nippon Techno's New Commercial "Building Owner's Feelings" Featuring Ryuichi Kawamura to Air from April 8

Nippon Techno Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Eiichi Umamoto), which provides total energy solution services related to electricity, will begin airing its new commercial "Building Owner's Feelings" on Wednesday, April 8th. Following the previous commercial, our image character, Ryuichi Kawamura, appears in this commercial.

Smart electricity for buildings.
Ryuichi Kawamura, who becomes the building owner of RYUICHI BUILDING, goes around each tenant to read electricity meters, calculate electricity charges, and issue invoices for electricity billing... With many detailed tasks, he cries out, "Being a building owner is too tough...!" This is where Nippon Techno's automatic electricity meter reading system "ECO-TENANT" is introduced. It converts the meters installed in tenant buildings into smart meters for automatic reading. Nippon Techno also handles the calculation and billing of electricity charges on behalf of the owner. Waking from his dream, Kawamura muses on the hardships of building owners and murmurs, "That's wonderful."

Tenant buildings house tenants from various industries. To calculate electricity charges, it is necessary to check the electricity meter of each tenant. Sometimes, it is necessary to enter a tenant's premises during business hours, making meter reading one of the most burdensome tasks for building owners. Furthermore, they must also calculate electricity charges, issue invoices, and collect payments. Although these are important tasks, many building owners are troubled by how demanding they are.

The CM shoot took place in a studio in Tokyo. Kawamura-san's acting skills, which shone in the previous work "The Technicians Behind It," are also evident in this work. His never-before-seen appearance of busily inspecting meters and diligently performing office work is a must-see.
Although it was a cold day with light snow, a harmonious atmosphere prevailed in the studio throughout the shoot. You can enjoy seeing Kawamura-san communicating with the shooting staff and showing expressions that met their requests in the making-of video.

Mr. Kawamura is a versatile artist, active as the vocalist of LUNA SEA, a solo musician, and a music producer. His encounter with Nippon Techno was when Eiichi Umamoto, our Representative Director and President, was in the same party at a golf tournament sponsored by our company. While Mr. Kawamura is strongly associated with his image as the vocalist of LUNA SEA, in his solo activities, he has been challenging himself from an artist's perspective towards the realization of a sustainable society, such as performing opera-style live shows without microphones or speakers.
Our company has appointed Mr. Kawamura as an image character since December 2012. He has provided many songs, including our company song, the theme song for "Energy Saving Masters 'Corporate Edition'" (BS TV Tokyo), and our own commercial songs.
