Mynavi Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and Executive Officer: Shunsuke Awai) in collaboration with MQue Corporation (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Takuya Tsuda) has developed 'WHAT (With Humanized AI Torch)', an AI service that provides end-to-end support from setting active talent criteria to conducting AI interviews. The service will be available starting in April 2026.
Background of Service Development
The turnover rate of new university graduates within three years is as high as 33.8% (*1), making the retention of talent commensurate with the burden of corporate recruiting investments a significant challenge.
Behind this is the reality that while many companies emphasize human skills such as 'personality/character,' 'ambition,' and 'cooperativeness' in new graduate hiring (*2), interviews are often conducted by employees with varying positions and experiences without these criteria being sufficiently verbalized (*3). As a result, hiring often proceeds without aligned evaluation axes or judgment criteria, and without a shared understanding of the company's 'ideal active talent'. While an increasing number of companies are introducing 'AI interviews' to address these issues, many still fail to conduct interviews and analyses that accurately reflect their specific 'ideal active talent'.
Given this background, we developed 'WHAT', a service that organizes and visualizes a company's specific 'ideal active talent' through dialogue with AI, offering end-to-end support from formulating hiring criteria to conducting and analyzing interviews.

Features of 'WHAT'
'WHAT' is a service that verbalizes each company's active talent criteria through dialogue with AI, applying Mynavi's expertise in recruitment and MQue's knowledge in diverse specialized fields such as management consulting and talent assessment. It provides seamless support from setting hiring criteria to interview design and analysis, efficiently realizing convincing recruitment with clear judgment grounds.
1. Talent Criteria Design Support
In 'WHAT', an interview AI (*4) is utilized to gather thoughts on hiring and evaluation perspectives from HR personnel, frontline high performers, management, and executives. The AI automatically organizes and structures the collected information, visualizing the behavior, judgment, and thought patterns of 'talent who will thrive after joining' as talent criteria specific to each company.
*4: Designed to draw out thought and judgment processes, it enables high-quality data collection by asking deep-dive follow-up questions based on responses.
2. Construction and Execution of Appropriate Interview Styles
Based on the designed talent criteria, the AI constructs the interview.
The AI draws out the candidate's behavioral characteristics and thought tendencies through question designs tailored to the abilities to be confirmed, such as deep-diving into past experiences or case interviews.
3. Analysis and Scoring
Based on the dialogue obtained in the interview, the candidate's behavioral characteristics are analyzed according to the talent criteria, and a score is calculated for each item. The analysis results are provided as reference information for HR personnel to understand each candidate more deeply.
4. Interview Result Reporting and Analysis
Interview results are automatically generated as reports, allowing immediate comprehension of each candidate's strengths, characteristics, and points to confirm in the next selection stage. Additionally, feedback reports for candidates can be utilized to provide them with an opportunity to understand their own strengths and characteristics. By analyzing data accumulated through recruitment activities, companies can improve their hiring processes in subsequent years.

While supporting the recruitment activities of over 30,000 companies annually, we recognized that 'insufficient verbalization of hiring criteria' is one of the causes of hiring mismatches, which led to the development of 'WHAT'. By combining our cultivated knowledge and know-how with the information accumulated through talent requirement interviews and student meetings, we will continuously support the improvement of recruitment accuracy and satisfaction. Moving forward, we will connect the entire hiring flow more seamlessly to create a better recruiting experience for both companies and talent.

The definition of 'active talent' varies completely from company to company. However, verbalizing this has historically required an enormous amount of time and expertise. 'WHAT' is a service that breaks down that wall using the power of AI. Together with Mynavi, we will shift hiring criteria from 'intuition' to 'design'.
