myFirst Japan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Sam Lee), a subsidiary of myFirst Tech Asia Pte. Ltd. (President: G-Jay Yong, Singapore), will launch "myFirst Fone M1," a new product in the "myFirst Fone" series of smartwatches for kids, which enables secure communication for children and families, starting from Friday, April 24, 2026.

In recent years, as internet use by younger children increases, so have cases of children getting involved in digital troubles. On the other hand, the demand for providing children with devices for crime prevention and communication is also growing.

However, smartphones designed for adults often have excessive functions for children, leaving parents with concerns.

The "myFirst Fone" series of smartwatches for kids has supported children's safety when out and about and family connections through features like voice/video calls, GPS monitoring, and SOS functions.

The newly introduced "myFirst Fone M1," as the latest model in the series, maintains these safety features while achieving the series' lightest and thinnest design and longest battery life.
It is a basic model that is easier to incorporate into daily life as a child's first gadget or for crime prevention.

Features of the new "myFirst Fone M1"

Basic functions for secure family connection

Equipped with voice calls, video calls, GPS (location acquisition), SOS function, chat, and family posting functions.

It enables both child monitoring when they are out and communication with family members with a single device. Contacts are limited only to those approved by parents through the app, preventing communication with unspecified individuals.

It also features a "Class Mode (Manner Mode)" that can restrict functions other than SOS during school hours, allowing for safe operation according to the usage scene.

Furthermore, it includes features that support daily fun, such as alarms and music playback.

*A separately sold pouch that allows the device to be used in a hanging style by removing the strap is also planned for release.

Adopts AMOLED display equivalent to higher-end models

The active-matrix organic EL (AMOLED) display, previously only installed in higher-end models, is now adopted in the basic model.

Compared to conventional TFT LCDs, it achieves vivid colors and high visibility. Furthermore, it realizes lower power consumption, thinner profile, and lighter weight, improving comfort for daily use.

Lightest and even thinner in the series

Body thickness is 14.0mm, and weight is 47g.

It is even lighter than the previous lightest model (48g), designed to be less burdensome even when worn for long periods.

Largest capacity battery in the series

Built-in 730mAh battery.

Combined with the AMOLED display, it allows for longer standby and usage times, enabling parents to monitor their children with peace of mind for longer.

Continuous use time is approximately 36-48 hours, and standby time is up to about 2 days.

Compatible with existing accessories

Charging cables and straps used with "myFirst Fone" S3 series, S4, and R2 can be used as they are.
Also, a dedicated silicone case (allowing the device to be used in a hanging style by removing the strap) is planned for release.

Two new colors, SAKURA PINK and STEEL BLUE, will be introduced.
