Hamano: After the event, I do feel a sense of sadness. However, this project was designed with a clear finale from the beginning, so I am truly happy that it was able to conclude in a beautiful form as a complete story. Furthermore, being able to continue playing Ryoga for so long has been a wonderfully happy experience in itself.
Horie: Even during the final recording and voice acting sessions, I didn't really feel like 'this is the end.' But after today's event, I feel a sense of clarity and refreshment having reached a beautiful milestone. The relationships among the cast and staff for this work were so good, and I felt a bond that's rare in other projects. Because of that, it's very sad that it's over, but more than that, the sense of accomplishment and gratitude for being involved in this wonderful work is immense.
Yamashita: As I mentioned in the evening session, the thought that this might be the last time I get to introduce myself as 'Yuki Mahiro, played by Seichiro Yamashita' brings more than just sadness. It was a special time, to the point where I thought, 'I'll likely never have an experience like this again.' The fact that a content continues for 6 or 7 years is truly precious, and seeing the fans' reactions today made me realize anew how fortunate I was. While I'm finally starting to feel the end, I also feel 'I've done it all. No regrets.'
**Thoughts on Characters Portrayed for Many Years**
Hamano: Ryoga is a mentally very mature character, and there were many aspects where I felt he was more adult than myself. His approach to work and human relationships were all admirable, and he made me think, 'I want to be like that too.' I felt we had a relationship where we pushed each other; Ryoga's efforts motivated me to work harder. He is a precious character who will continue to live within me forever.
Horie: Actually, I first learned I would be appearing in 'HanaDoll*' when someone at another recording session said, 'Please take care of us in "HanaDoll*" too' (laughs). At the time, I just thought, 'Oh, I get to be in that project, that's nice.' But after actually getting involved, I experienced not only joy but also hardship, and a wide range of emotions. I feel like I've walked a path I never imagined for myself. Also, since I've spent so much time with him, Setsuna is an unforgettable presence for me. I truly hope that the moments and time he lived as Setsuna were happy ones for him.
Yamashita: Mahiro, and this project as a whole, felt like a second or third family to me. The regularly scheduled recordings and music sessions were something to look forward to, and an opportunity to motivate myself. Just having that cycle in itself was happiness. I sometimes practiced hard for recordings or felt anxious when facing difficulties, but in an environment where I could always think 'I have to do my best,' I ended up growing significantly myself. The time I've spent walking hand-in-hand with Mahiro is truly a treasure.
**A Message to All Fans Who Love 'HanaDoll*'**
Hamano: Thank you all so much for supporting 'Anthos*' and 'Loulou*di' for 7 years. This work is a story with various aspects behind its glamour, and I'm sure there were difficult developments for you, our supporters, at times. Nevertheless, the characters were able to reach a thoroughly memorable ending, and that is thanks to your support, which we voice actors always felt. Although I may no longer have the opportunity to stand on stage as Ryoga, I would be happy if you continue to love the work as beings connected by the chains of your souls.
Horie: While there is sadness in reaching this conclusion, I also feel a sense of exhilaration. It's precisely because I feel I was able to fully depict and portray their drama that I am filled with positive feelings now. I would be happy if you, too, could feel proud of the time you spent loving and following this work. By the way, we still have a small enjoyment planned (laughs). We plan to go out for a meal with the 'HanaDoll*' members soon. Hamano: Ah, that's a spoiler (laughs). Horie: I'm really looking forward to it... (laughs).
