[Musashino University] Students to Present Research Results Tackling Real-World Issues; Faculty of Data Science and Faculty of International Data Science to Hold First "Open DS AI Forum 2026" on July 31 and August 1

Musashino University (Corporate: Koto City, Tokyo; President: Seiko Konishi), Faculty of Data Science, will hold the "Open DS AI Forum 2026" for two days on July 31 (Fri.) and August 1 (Sat.) at the Ariake Campus. At this forum, students participating in the compulsory subject "Future Creation Project" from the Faculty of Data Science (MUDS) and the Faculty of International Data Science (MIDS) will present their research results.

"Future Creation Project" is a practical learning program where students engage in joint research with companies and commissioned research from government agencies from their second semester of their first year until graduation, aiming to solve real-world problems. Since the faculty's establishment in 2019, a results presentation meeting for first-year students has been held at the end of each academic year. This year, for the first time, an open forum will be held to publicly present research results from the Future Creation Project to a wider audience, including second and third-year students, faculty members, and graduate students. On the day, research results on diverse themes such as knowledge bases, virtual reality, and deep learning will be presented to company representatives, high school students, and the general public.
