The Westin Sendai (Ichibancho, Aoba-ku, Sendai City; General Manager: Kazuyuki Shimoge) will be launching "Afternoon Tea -Green Melon-" (Afternoon Tea Green Melon), an afternoon tea where guests can fully enjoy fresh melon sweets, at Restaurant Symphony (26th floor) from Saturday, May 16, to Friday, July 17, 2026.

With green as the theme, reflecting the early summer sunshine, we have prepared sweets and savories that highlight the sweetness and aroma of "Nishijima Musk Melon" from Kochi Prefecture. The three-tiered tea stand features a diverse lineup of sweets with varying sweetness and textures, including a melon parfait with a beautiful green, orange, and white contrast, a soft melon and lychee mousse, and the classic melon shortcake. The whole wheat scones mixed with melon pulp and the Crème d'Anjou enhanced with melon sauce offer a gentle flavor with a lingering aroma.

For savories, we have prepared exquisite dishes that complement the melon sweets, such as the light saltiness of prosciutto with melon, refreshing coconut melon soup, and ragout sandwiches made with tender stewed Japanese Black beef. Additionally, the limited-time weekend-only roast beef, with its appealing moist texture, adds a touch of splendor to your afternoon tea.

Enjoy a soothing time colored in green, gazing at the glittering early summer cityscape from the upper floors.
