M-Soft Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Taito-ku, Tokyo; President: Keisuke Sato; hereinafter 'M-Soft') has implemented an update to its cloud service 'MONOLIST,' which integrates equipment ledgers with a 3D point cloud viewer, to strengthen the centralized management of equipment information.
In this update, a feature has been added to manage anomalies and future inspection schedules directly linked to each piece of equipment in 3D space. Additionally, by introducing a composite point cloud display feature for comparing data before and after construction, and improving the operability of the viewer, the update accelerates field DX by making information confirmation and sharing in maintenance and inspection smoother.
Development Background: The 'Divide' Between 3D Data and Management Information Expectations for facility management utilizing 3D data are rising in plant maintenance, building maintenance, and construction sites. However, in reality, 3D data is often limited to viewing, while data such as equipment specs and inspection history is managed in separate ledgers or systems, creating a significant issue of information fragmentation.
In such situations, when an anomaly is found in a specific piece of equipment, it takes time to search for information by moving between multiple systems to check past history and future schedules, which hinders intuitive decision-making.
To solve these issues, this update focuses on 'information aggregation' and 'improving viewer convenience.'
What is 'MONOLIST'? 'MONOLIST' is a digital twin facility management platform equipped with both an equipment ledger and a web point cloud viewer. It reproduces on-site equipment in 3D space and manages it by linking location information with spec information. By linking with our digital work procedure product 'Check+,' it is possible to centralize information including equipment inspection records, supporting the reduction of travel costs to sites and the efficiency of maintenance operations.
Key Points of This Update 1. Aggregation of 'Issues/Plans' into Equipment Information: Added tabs to the equipment detail screen to check on-site anomalies (issues) and future inspection schedules (scenarios). 2. Attribute Confirmation and Display Optimization on the Viewer: Updated features to directly check user-defined management items like model numbers and specs while viewing point clouds. 3. Support for Combined Display of Multiple Data: Displays multiple point cloud data with the same coordinate system simultaneously, enabling comparison before and after construction.
Future Outlook MONOLIST will continue to reflect user requests in product development and strengthen its functions as a platform that allows intuitive utilization of on-site information.
