Mitsui Soko Business Partners Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Kazuhiro Hyakutome, hereinafter "the Company") announced that as of March 13, the scope of certification for the international standard for quality management systems "ISO9001" has been expanded, and "ISO9001" is now newly applicable to important document storage and management services.
Since acquiring ISO9001 certification in 2004 for the storage and processing of image information on electronic media, the Company has maintained strict quality control for over 20 years, providing services for the digitization, processing, and storage of customers' important information on media. Recently, with an increasing number of cases where the Company is entrusted with both digitization work and the storage of original (paper) documents, a quality management system has been established for the document storage process, leading to the expansion of the certification scope. This enables the provision of consistent services based on "ISO9001" across all processes, from the storage of original (paper) documents, to digitization as needed (media conversion), and data delivery.
