Ryoichi Yokoyama Profile

Born in Kushiro City, Hokkaido. Debuted with the serialization of "Nekketsu Banchou Kion Tsubaki" in Weekly Young Magazine in 2002. Since then, he has serialized works in a wide range of magazines, primarily gag manga.

From around 2015, he expanded his activities to SNS and the web, and has also worked on numerous PR manga for major companies. His representative works include "Sengoku Comiket" and "My New Dad Looks Way Too Menacing."

One of the representative manga artists of the SNS era, active in both commercial and SNS fields.

Background of "Kakikomi" Service Development

"Kakikomi" is a super-practical manga school that systematically shows the path to becoming a manga artist capable of creating appealing works, taught by active manga artists and editors.

Traditionally, many aspiring manga artists have chosen to self-study and submit their work to publishers, or to learn the basics at vocational schools. Vocational schools, in particular, play a significant role in acquiring drawing skills and production fundamentals. However, there have been voices expressing that guidance tailored to individual artists' unique styles and career goals, as well as practical opportunities leading to debut, are limited. "Kakikomi" was born out of such industry feedback as a new form of learning.
