MFS Inc., operator of the mortgage comparison and diagnosis service "Mogecheck," has begun the monthly publication of its "Mortgage User Report," which analyzes data from its registered users. The report provides regular updates on trends for both new borrowing and refinancing. Key findings show the national average desired loan amount has increased to ¥50.96 million, and in response to soaring real estate prices, the proportion of ultra-long-term loans (over 35 years) has doubled to 30.6% nationwide. For refinancing, the average savings benefit remains stable at ¥1.75-¥2.0 million. Mogecheck aims to make it easy for anyone to choose the optimal mortgage, a traditionally difficult task for individuals.
