Morisawa Inc. is hosting free seminars for local government employees on Friday, June 19, and Wednesday, July 1, 2026, focusing on information dissemination and regional branding. We have invited Mr. Tomoyuki Sakuma, a PR advisor for local governments from PRDESIGN JAPAN Inc., to speak on the nature of public relations in local government. Additionally, guest speakers will join each session to discuss specific initiatives and case studies. The guest speakers for the June 19 session are from Namegata City, Ibaraki Prefecture, who will discuss public relations from both staff and management perspectives, as well as the 'Namegata City Font Project.' The guest speaker for the July 1 session is from Inabe City, Mie Prefecture, who will share their 'Effective Information Dissemination' initiatives that involve both internal and external stakeholders to drive regional branding. The June session will be held in person in Tokyo, while the July session will be a hybrid event in Osaka with online streaming. Both sessions are self-contained, allowing participants to attend according to their convenience. Attending both will provide a more multifaceted understanding of regional branding. We encourage those interested in effective communication to register. For those attending in person, we have scheduled networking and consultation time for government employees.
