August 12 is "Hi-Chew Day"! A dream collaboration to commemorate the release of the movie "Spider-Man: Brand New Day"! Two special Hi-Chew products to liven up summer vacation will be released for a limited time starting July 28 (Tue).

Morinaga & Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and COO: Shinya Mori) will release two special flavor Hi-Chew products, "Hi-Chew <Double Web>" and "Hi-Chew Assort <Sour Swing Mix>," for a limited time starting July 28 (Tue). These are collaboration products with the movie "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" (hereinafter "Spider-Man"), which will be released on July 31 (Fri). Hi-Chew Mini Pouch will also be released sequentially from mid-July.

Since its launch in 1975, Hi-Chew has been loved by a wide range of generations, from children to adults, as a standard brand of soft candy. This time, a dream collaboration has been realized to commemorate the release of the Spider-Man movie and Hi-Chew Day. We will deliver special quality unique to Hi-Chew that allows you to experience the world of the movie through taste, texture, and appearance.

"Hi-Chew <Double Web>" is an apple flavor on the outside and a blueberry flavor on the inside, inspired by Spider-Man's colors and refreshing feel. It has a super crispy and juicy texture, and its fruity sourness and cinnamon spice are addictive.

"Hi-Chew Assort <Sour Swing Mix>" is an assortment of four flavors inspired by the world of Spider-Man: Hero Red Cherry flavor, NY Lemonade flavor, Big Green Lime flavor, and Multi Sour Fruit flavor. It has a fruity sour taste and a crispy texture with crunchy chips.

About the movie "Spider-Man: Brand New Day"

This is the latest installment in the Spider-Man series, which has been a global mega-hit since the first "Spider-Man" movie appeared on screen in 2002, with a total of 8 live-action theatrical films released worldwide. Four years after the events of "Spider-Man: No Way Home," a grown-up Peter Parker lives alone, his existence erased from the lives and memories of his loved ones. August 12 is Hi-Chew Day

Hi-Chew Day was established based on the wordplay of "8, 1, 2" sounding like "Hi-Chew," and to further liven up the summer vacation period in early August when families spend a lot of time together, such as on outings or returning home, with the delicious taste and texture of Hi-Chew. It was certified by the Japan Anniversary Association in 2004.
