Monstarlab Establishes Two New Divisions to Drive AI Product Business and Redefine Human Value, Laying Foundation for Sustainable Growth

Monstarlab, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Hiroki Inagawa; hereinafter "Monstarlab"), an "AI & Digital Partners" company that supports corporate transformation and value creation with the power of AI and digital, will establish the "AI Product & Transformation Office," responsible for AI-based product businesses, and the "Human Intelligence Lab," which redefines the value and role of human resources, effective April 1, 2026 (Wednesday). By simultaneously promoting business creation and organizational strengthening, the company aims to establish a foundation for sustainable business growth.

We also announce the appointment of Aiki Kato as VP, Head of AI Product & Transformation Office, and Natsu Kawakita as VP of Strategy & Design and Human Intelligence Lab Lead, as executive officers to lead both divisions.

Background of New Division Establishment

After a period of structural reform since 2024, our company has improved its financial health and is now promoting a transition to a sustainable growth phase.

In December 2025, we formulated a new global brand message, "AI & Digital Partners, Unlocking Human Potential" (※). As AI utilization shifts from the "proof-of-concept" to the "implementation" phase, we are in a stage to strengthen our role as a true partner, providing end-to-end support from strategy formulation to development and operation.

To further accelerate this growth, we have established the following two divisions to simultaneously promote business creation and organizational strengthening, aiming to establish a foundation for sustainable business growth.

About the New Divisions

AI Product & Transformation Office

The AI Product & Transformation Office is a division that integrally promotes the creation of AI-driven product and solution businesses and AI transformation for both clients and internally. It will lead the growth of digital consulting and product development utilizing AI, while also serving as a core function for Monstarlab itself to evolve into an "AI-native" organization.

Human Intelligence Lab

The Human Intelligence Lab is a dedicated division for the organization to explore and strengthen human-specific intelligence, thinking, and value creation capabilities in contrast to AI. As the automation of all tasks accelerates due to the evolution of AI, the answer to the question "what should humans be responsible for?" becomes the source of a company's competitive advantage. This division aims to redefine "human value" for Monstarlab and establish a robust organizational structure through redesigning human resources and roles, and providing learning environments.

About the New Executive Officers

・ Aiki Kato

VP, Head of AI Product & Transformation Office

Kato will assume the role of "VP, Head of AI Product & Transformation Office" based on his extensive experience leading numerous corporate transformation projects both domestically and internationally as a DX consultant.

He will support client companies in promoting AI utilization and drive AI-native business transformation internally, aiming to improve the overall competitiveness of the group.

Profile

At a foreign IT consulting firm, he led numerous global projects, primarily in the retail and distribution sectors. He promoted cross-border transformation support, such as introducing overseas cases to the Japanese market and establishing overseas engineering bases for clients.

After joining Monstarlab in 2021, as a consultant, he led new product development support and company-wide DX promotion projects. He was also involved in a wide range of operational areas, including sales, human resources, and organizational management, promoting transformation across the entire business. From 2026, as VP, Head of AI Product & Transformation Office, he will lead the creation of AI-driven products and solutions and AI transformation for both clients and internally.

As AI is significantly changing the way companies operate and create value, I believe it is crucial to accurately grasp these changes and create new products and solutions that lead to client business growth. At the same time, it is essential for Monstarlab itself to evolve into an AI-native organization. I will work to promote transformation from both business and organizational perspectives to further enhance our corporate value and competitiveness.

・ Natsu Kawakita

VP of Strategy & Design / Human Intelligence Lab Lead

Kawakita will assume the roles of "VP of Strategy & Design" and "Human Intelligence Lab Lead" based on her experience as a UX designer who also established and led a specialized team, driving both organizational and project aspects.

While overseeing the design organization, she will foster human-specific intelligence within the organization, such as the ability to think from multiple perspectives and pose questions to society, thereby enhancing Monstarlab's meaningful value.

Profile

At a design consulting firm (A.C.O.), she specialized in UX and service design, leading projects in diverse areas such as mobility, healthcare, and video streaming services. She was also involved in team management and launching new services, promoting design-driven business creation. A.C.O. joined the Monstarlab Group in 2018, and she has been with the company through its integration in 2023 to the present.

She has been responsible for projects spanning UX, service design, and branding, expanding the intersection of business and design through collaborations with various industries and clients. From 2026, as VP of Strategy & Design, she will be responsible for achieving KPIs and designing the company's creative thinking and culture across the entire organization.
