This year's KCON carries the annual theme of 'Walk in SOUL CITY.' We will establish our identity as a global platform where attendees can discover their own 'K' style, providing a space where diverse elements symbolizing K-lifestyle, beyond just K-POP, gather. As part of this effort, starting with 'KCON JAPAN 2026,' we will significantly renovate the experiential 'FESTIVAL GROUNDS' area. In this area, in addition to traditional K-POP booths, the following new content will be featured:
K-BEAUTY: The 'OLIVE YOUNG FEST World Tour' will make its first appearance at KCON. It will evolve into a space where you can deeply experience the latest in K-Beauty.
K-STORY: In the newly established 'K-STORY ZONE,' you can enjoy the latest K-content, including K-dramas, that target the tastes of fans around the world.
Evolution of the Stage: At the 'M COUNTDOWN' stage, the performance time for each day's headliners will be extended to one hour. We will deliver a more immersive, unprecedented concert experience.
KCON has been held worldwide since its inception in Irvine, USA, in 2012, building a festival model that encompasses all aspects of Korean culture, including music-centered K-Beauty, K-Food, and K-Content. It has been held in 14 regions across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, with a cumulative offline attendance reaching approximately 2.23 million people. Through digital platforms, tens of millions of global fans have built a fandom that transcends language barriers and national borders, making it a platform that helps artists expand globally and brands enter overseas markets, and it continues to enhance its presence as a global K-POP festival.
