Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka Launches 'Princess Afternoon Tea: Mermaid' Featuring Seasonal Fruit Sweets

Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka (located at 6-1-55 Uehonmachi, Tennoji-ku, Osaka) will offer the 'Princess Afternoon Tea: Mermaid' at its Restaurant & Lounge Bar 'eu' from Wednesday, July 1, to Monday, August 31, 2026.

Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's 'The Little Mermaid,' the event recreates the underwater world with shell and coral-themed sweets. Guests can enjoy seasonal fruit desserts such as a refreshing layered glass dessert with coconut panna cotta, peach, and blue jelly, topped with a chocolate trident, and a tropical fruit mousse representing the seabed. The savory menu includes four items, such as a focaccia sandwich with 'frikadeller,' a traditional Danish dish from the story's setting. A dinner course version featuring these sweets is also available for those unable to visit during afternoon tea hours or seeking an after-work meal.
